ZPHS Palamaner: Sparking Curiosity in Rural India
The Visit
In June 2025, Skybound Horizons brought space science to life at ZPHS Palamaner, a government school in rural Andhra Pradesh. Over 200 students experienced their first interactive STEM session, delivered bilingually in English and Telugu.
Our mission was simple: make science accessible, engaging, and inspiring for students who rarely get exposure to hands-on learning experiences. Through storytelling, demonstrations, and interactive activities, we connected village students to the wonders of space exploration.
The session focused on curiosity, dreaming big, and showing students that "even small towns produce big thinkers."

What We Did
How Astronauts Drink Water in Space
Interactive demonstration showing water recycling systems and zero-gravity challenges
Custom Infographics & Visuals
Visual storytelling about space water systems and ISRO's humble bicycle beginnings
Paper Plane Challenge
Hands-on activity with A4 paper planes symbolizing 'let your dreams fly'
Skybound Water Bottles
Branded water bottle giveaway connecting to the space theme and practical utility
Special Highlight: ISRO's Journey
We shared the inspiring story of ISRO's humble beginnings - showing students the famous image of a rocket being transported on a bicycle. This powerful visual demonstrated that "you don't need a rocket to launch your dreams" and that great achievements start with simple steps and determination.
Student Reactions
"I never thought about astronauts this way. Now I want to learn more about space!"
— 8th grade student
"The paper plane activity was so fun! I want to build real planes someday."
— 7th grade student

Teacher Feedback
"Our students were thrilled — they've never seen science presented like this before. The bilingual approach made it so accessible. Please come again and talk about AI next time!"

Looking Ahead
The Palamaner visit was just the beginning. Skybound Horizons will expand outreach to U.S. schools in 2025–26 with similar hands-on STEM sessions. Our goal is to reach 1,000+ students globally by the end of 2026, bringing the wonder of science and space exploration to classrooms everywhere.
Every visit plants seeds of curiosity that can grow into careers in STEM, space exploration, and innovation. We're committed to making science accessible to all students, regardless of their location or resources.
